APPOINTMENT

Project Associate – I

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Project Associate-I in a project, titled “Comprehensive Evaluation of Long Non-Coding RNAs in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Diagnosis and Therapy,” funded by the DBT-Ramalingaswami Re-entry Fellowship (DBT-RRF), Government of India and is sanctioned to Dr. Subhayan Sur, Associate Professor, Cancer and Translational Research Centre, Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute, Pune. The appointment will initially be for three months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Position Details:

• Position: Project Associate-I

• Number of Positions: 1 (One)

• Last Date for Application: 20^th April, 2025

• Duration:Initially three months, extendable based on performance and project requirements

• Emoluments: ₹ 25,000 per month + 27% HRA (as per DST/DBT norms)

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification:
• M.Sc. in Life Sciences or an equivalent field with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Desirable Qualification:
• Good academic record
• Prior experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques

Age Limit:
• Maximum 35 years at the time of application.

Preference:

Candidates interested in pursuing a Ph. D. at Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU) will be given preference.

1. The position is purely temporary and will terminate with the project.

2. The Principal Investigator (PI) reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on qualifications and experience.

4. The selected candidate is expected to join immediately upon selection.

5. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
