Qualification and Experience required as follows:

1. Ph. D. degree and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch. (M. Des. / M. Arch./ M. Tech. (Textile/ Production Design)/ M. Sc. (Textile/ Production Design)/ M.F.A. (Applied /Graphic) etc.

2. At least two successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor / Co-Supervisor and minimum 8 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.

3. Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching / research/ industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that of Professor.

Professor

• First Class or equivalent at Master’s level (M. Des./ M. Arch./ M.Tech. (Textiles/ Fashion/ Apparel)/ M. Sc. (Textile & clothing/ Fashion/ Costume/ Apparel Production/ Animation)/ M.E. (Industrial design/Machine design)/ M.F.A. (Applied/Graphic) in the relevant branch with Ph. D. degree
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
• At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC /
  AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion.
• At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC /
  AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion.

Associate Professor

• First Class or equivalent at Master’s level (M. Des./ M. Arch./ M.Tech. (Textiles/ Fashion/ Apparel)/ M. Sc. (Textile & clothing/ Fashion/ Costume/ Apparel Production/ Animation)/ M.E. (Industrial design/Machine design)/ M.F.A. (Applied/Graphic) in the relevant branch with Ph. D. degree
• At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.

Assistant Professor

• Master’s degree (M. Des./ M. Arch./ M.Tech. (Textiles/ Fashion/ Apparel) / M. Sc. (Textile & clothing/ Fashion/ Costume/ Apparel Production/ Animation)/ M.E. (Industrial design/ Machine design)/ M.F.A. (Applied/ Graphic) in relevant disciplines with First Class or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience is desirable.
