Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for one (01) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under a research project funded by the Prime Minister's Early Career Research Grant (PM-ECRG), awarded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), India.

Project Details:

• Position Title: : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Research Area: Long non-coding RNA in Head and Neck Cancer

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualification:
• M.Sc. in Life Sciences or related disciplines with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA
• Qualified in NET and/or GATE

Desirable Qualification:
• Strong academic track record
• Hands-on experience in cell culture, real-time PCR, and molecular biology techniques

Age Limit:
Not more than 35 years at the time of application.

Position Details:

Duration: Initially for 12 months, extendable up to 36 months based on performance and availability of funds

• Emoluments: ₹37,000/month for the first two years and ₹42,000/ month in the third year, plus HRA as per Central Government norms applicable in Pune

• Last Date to Apply: July 7, 2025

Eligibility:

Essential:
Master's Degree (with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) in Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Plant Biotechnology /Plant Science or equivalent from a recognized University with an NET/ GATE qualification.

Desirable:
1. Strong academic record
2. Prior research experience in molecular biology, microbial cultures handling & processing, plant-microbe’s interactions and multi-omics (viz. NGSs transcriptomics i.e. RNA-seq and metabolomics data analysis) techniques.
